Nancy D. Rubright, 73, of Jefferson Twp., passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center. She was the wife of George F. Rubright. They were married on April 18, 1964 and celebrated fifty-three years of marriage.
Born in Penn Twp., she was the daughter of the late Mark K. and Dorothy H. (Spatz) Bixler. Nancy was a 1961 graduate of Penn Bernville High School. She was an active member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp., where she was a member of the choir and assistant organist. Nancy enjoyed baking, knitting, the family farm, and giving piano lessons.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: Eric C. Rubright, and his wife Michelle, Leesburg, Virginia; and Gregg M. Rubright, and his wife Jennie, Jefferson Twp.; four grandchildren: Matthew, Marie, Clayton and Lisa; and one sister: June B. (Bixler), wife of Gerald Rhoads, Landrum, South Carolina. Nancy was predeceased by a daughter: Lisa A. Rubright, died December 18, 1969.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Belleman's Church Campaign Fund or Endowment Fund, 3540 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, PA 19541.
